Mariglen

Mariglen needed furniture for the new home they are building. She liked our Kingsley collection and wanted us to build a sectional style with the Kingsley look. We merged our Roth sectional style with the Kingsley style to create the Kingsley sectional look she requested. Her 4-piece sectional consists of a LF chaise, armless queen sleeper, corner chair and RF sofa. She upgraded the free ottoman to be a storage ottoman. We used bun feet - fruitwood finish. She used Microfibre Fairview Oak as her fabric covering.

Philomena

Philomena spent her honeymoon at the Aldrovandi Palace in Rome. She said the furniture there was so very elegant and wanted a piece to remind her of that special time and place. She liked our new English style, but wanted to add Gros-Grain ribbon detail on the back cushions, throw pillows and bottom of the skirt to make the look more fresh and modern. Philomena also added eleven inches to the length of her sofa making it 91". She provided her fabric and ribbon by participating in our C.O.M. program where the customer buys the fabric and we offer a price quote for furniture using the customer's fabric.

Ruth's Custom Furniture

Ruth liked our new Kingsley collection. She wanted brass nailheads applied around the arm panels of her chairs and queen sleeper. She chose multiple coordinating fabrics for her storage ottoman. Ruth participated in our C.O.M. program for her fabric selection. Click the links for the individual photos - everything looked great! View queen sleeper. View chair. View storage ottoman. Cheri

Cheri and her husband wanted a contemporary armless sectional. They liked the back cushion style of our Yeats sectional, but wanted a higher back frame (30.5") and single seat cushions. Their custom sectional consists of a 96" armless sofa w/return and a 51.5" loveseat (finished dimensions: 96" x 87"). They upgraded to 5" polished steel legs. The fabric is Horizon sage.

Terri

Terri wanted an apartment size sofa in our Hughes style and a tufted storage ottoman. However, she liked the arm style of our new Kingsley style and asked us to use that arm style for her sofa. She increased the overall height to 38", increased the seat cushion borders to 5" (from our standard 4" border size) and used our fiber-down cushion option package. The length of her sofa is 77" and her tufted ottoman measures 44" x 24" x 19". Terri used multiple fabrics (C.O.M. program) on her pieces and chose our bun feet. View storage ottoman.

Leigh

Leigh liked our Roth collection. She wanted a "western flair" and asked us to apply brassnails around the bottoms and arms of all pieces, including the ottoman. She upgraded to the premium support package which included adding extra reinforcements to the stress points of the frame and adding 1" to the seat cushions (from a 4" seat cushion border to a 5" seat cushion border). Her sectional consists of a LF loveseat, corner chair, RF sofa and a custom sized ottoman measuring 37" (length) x 25" (depth). Finished dimensions of her sectional are 93.5" x 118". She chose chenille Austin Cranberry as the fabric and accented with throw pillows in Austin Sand. Leigh wanted bun feet with a fruitwood finish.

Rachel Designer

Rachel, a designer, needed to furnish the living room of her customer's summer home. She sent us a photo of the arm style she wanted and we worked with her regarding the dimensions of the collection. Her collection included (2) swivel-rocker chairs, (2) chairs, (2) ottomans and a 2 back/seat version sofa. The swivel rockers and the ottomans have 7" kick-pleat skirts and other pieces have 5" tapered post legs. Rachel participated in our C.O.M. program where the customer finds and purchases the fabric and ships it to us to be used on their furniture. We let you know how many yards of fabric to buy. Sharon

Sharon wanted two Hughes Sleeper Chairs and a matching Storage Ottoman. As you can see, she wanted to use multiple fabrics on different parts of each piece. Sharon provided a drawing of the sleeper chairs and ottoman showing us where each fabric was to be applied. We think it turned out beautifully. She used Surfrider Brazil, Cannes Cognac and Durango Sienna - all are Special Request fabrics. Her order included (8) throw pillows - and she used a different fabric on each side and the third fabric for the contrasting welt. View close up of a sleeper chair.

John's Custom Sectional Sofa

John liked the Roth sectional style with its rolled arms and frame height of 30.5". However, he liked the back cushion box-style of the Yeats. So, he asked us to put the Yeats back cushions on the Roth sectional. He used Twill Natural as his fabric. Many customers have ordered this same custom combination.

Ellen Designer

Ellen, a designer, wanted to furnish the living room of her customer's beach home. She chose the Roth style sectional and accented with (4) 18" throw pillows. Her throw pillows have a C.O.M. (customers own material) fabric on one side and the sectional fabric on the other side. Ellen added a custom Lewis chair to the collection. For matching purposes, her custom Lewis chair has no skirt and uses the same feet as on the Roth sectional. Microfibre Accord Aqua was chosen as the fabric covering.

Jill's Custom Sectional Sofa

Jill liked the Yeats style, but wanted additional back support with a higher back frame height (Yeats is 25.5). Many customers have ordered this same custom combination.

Maria

Maria liked the Yeats style, but also wanted additional back support with a higher back frame height (Yeats is 25.5"). She asked us to increase the back frame height 3.5 more inches - so her custom Yeats sectional has a back frame height of 29". Maria wanted her back cushions to be firmer - so we used a Poly core (wrapped in fiber) for her back cushions. She chose our tapered wood feet as an option and the Microfibre Hyatt Tan as her fabric.

Lynda's Custom Queen Sleeper Sofa

Lynda wanted a Hughes Queen Sleeper with no skirt. She chose tapered wood feet. Her fabric is Microfibre Amigo Barn.

Anne Designer

Anne, a designer, liked our new sectional style, the Byron, but wanted Roth-style back cushions and custom T-seat cushions. She also wanted a corner wedge that offers more leg room. Her sectional consists of a custom sized LF chair (35"), corner wedge, custom sized RF chair (35") and an ottoman. Finished dimensions are 80" x 80". The 90 degree corner wedge is 45.5" x 45.5" and offers 14" of leg space in the front. Anne participated in our C.O.M. program for her fabric selection.

Ben's Custom Sleeper Sofa

Steve

Steve, General Manager at a Marriott hotel in Virginia, wanted three armless, single chairs to go in his front lobby for guests. Due to the heavy traffic in the lobby, he wanted the back cushions to be semi-attached and he needed commercial grade fabric. He chose the Yeats style armless chair, and had us raise the back frame height to 29" for added back support. He chose one of our newest microfibre fabrics, Tribeca Natural.

JJ's Custom Sectional Sofa

J.J. wanted to make some custom changes to our Byron style sectional. Our Byron style has knife-edge back cushions (with the bottoms pleated for zippers), a front border, and 2" mahogany finished tapered feet. J.J. wanted his seat depth to be 26" (+ 4") and his frame height to be 32" (+ 1"). He chose the fiber-down cushion package and Horizon Mink as his fabric covering.

Mary's Custom Sleeper Chairs

Mary participated in our C.O.M. program where the customer buys the fabric and we offer a price quote for the furniture and tell you the needed yardage.

Julie's Custom Sleeper Sofa and Storage Ottoman

Julie wanted an armless Roth Queen Sleeper with Yeats style back cushions. She asked for one seat cushion and two back cushions. His 4-piece sectional consists of a LF recliner, two armless chairs, and a RF recliner. Both the seat and back cushions on our recliners are semi-attached. All other seat and back cushions are loose. Our sectional recliners can operate within two inches of the wall. Wally's fabric covering is a special request fabric - Habit 0647 Jewel. View recliners in open position.

Patricia

Patricia wanted a 3-piece Roth sectional with Yeats style back cushions (like John's), but wanted an oversized ottoman that could be used as a coffee table when needed. Her custom sized ottoman is 34" x 34" (length x width) and is 19.5" high. She chose Sultry Suede Fawn as her fabric covering.

Melanie

Melanie liked our Hall style sectional, but wanted to add 2 inches of seat depth and customize the length of several pieces. Her finished dimensions are (L to R): 132" x 120". She added 3" tapered wood feet and a matching storage ottoman. Melanie chose the fiber-down cushion package option and Microfibre Arcadia Hickory as the fabric.

Pam's Custom Sectional Sofa

Pam wanted a sectional based off our newest collection style, the Kingsley. Her sectional consists of a LF chair, corner chair, armless queen sleeper, RF chair and ottoman. The finished dimensions are (L to R): 81" x 146". Pam wanted throw pillows instead of back cushions. She used multiple fabrics for her sectional (all C.O.M.), including using one fabric for one side of the throw pillows and another fabric for the other side.

Cynthia's Custom Loveseat

Cynthia wanted a Marquis loveseat without a skirt. She also wanted to match the color of the feet with her existing furniture. So, she asked us to provide unfinished tapered feet - so she could finish them herself! Her fabric is Twill Natural.

Herminia

Herminia like our Crawford sectional style, but wanted a regular sofa and loveseat - instead of a sectional. She needed her sofa to be 82" in length and her loveseat to be 58" long. She chose Microfibre Amigo Fern as her fabric covering.

Jackie Designer

Jackie, a designer, wanted a longer loveseat with a single seat cushion for her customer. She chose the Marquis style and had us customize the length to 74". Her Marquis loveseat came with (4) 20" x 20" throw pillows and (2) 16" x 16" throw pillows. Jackie chose the standard cushion package (our firmest cushions) and one of our Microfibres (Fairview Cedar) as her fabric covering.

Jean's Custom Tufted Ottoman

Jean wanted an ottoman to use at the foot of her bed as a dressing bench. She liked the tufted design and wanted spool feet with a dark mahogany finish. She participated in our C.O.M. program where she bought the fabric and we adjusted our price quote by subtracting out our embedded cost of fabric.

Michelle

Michelle liked our Roth style sectional, but needed the right facing side to be longer than our standard length. We extended the length of the RF sofa from 82.5" to 96.5". She received the free ottoman and added another ottoman. The finished dimensions of her sectional are 93.5" x 132". Michelle chose the fiber-down cushion package option and Microfibre Hyatt Walnut as the fabric covering.

Jeanie

Jeanie wanted a 2 piece Roth sectional, but wanted to add a skirt. We added a visible 8.5" kick- pleat skirt (sides that "connect" together do not have a skirt panel). Jeanie also wanted bigger seat cushions, so we increased the border size of the cushions from 4" to 6". Her custom sized ottoman is 37.5" length x 25" depth x 19.5" height. She chose Austin Pecan as her fabric covering.

Meryl

Meryl wanted a 4 piece Roth sectional, but needed to customize the length of one of the pieces as she was trying to fill a space in her den. We added 9 inches to the armless loveseat so that her sectional would be 128.5" x 93.5" - the perfect fit! Meryl chose Sultry Suede Lichen from our newly introduced fabric line.

Carisa

Carisa was ready for a sectional that her entire family could enjoy and would be comfortable. She liked our Roth style, but needed some versatility with the design and wanted to add a 7" kick-pleat skirt and our box-style back cushions. With a fireplace close to one end of the sectional, she needed a smaller (overall depth) custom chaise on the left side. Because her family room opened into the kitchen, she wanted the other end of the sectional to be inviting, hence the armless loveseat (with stump end). The 5-piece custom sectional includes a 38.5" LF chaise, (2) armless loveseats, a 45.5" x 45.5" corner wedge, and a 63" armless loveseat (with stump end). The finished dimensions are 50" x 188" x 63". Carisa chose our fiber-down cushion package and upgraded to a storage ottoman. Her fabric is Sultry Suede Sage.

Ginny

Ginny was ready to replace the furniture in her living room. She liked our Roth style and our new corner wedge that is now offered as sectional component on our website. Ginny asked us to increase the size of her 90 degree corner wedge to 49.5" x 49.5". Her custom wedge offers 20" of leg space in the front. Her sectional consists of a LF loveseat, corner wedge and a RF loveseat and an ottoman (with optional rolling casters). Finished dimensions are 107.5" x 107.5". She chose a Hughes chair and a half to accompany her sectional. The fabric is Microfibre Fairview Aqua.

Shannon's Big Chaises

Shannon knew just what she wanted, but couldn't find it in a store. Shannon wanted BIG chaises - large enough for her husband to relax after work and large enough for their two children to sit with them. When she gave us the dimensions she wanted, we knew she wanted some "monster" size chaises! She chose the Crawford style (2-arm version) as the starting point for changes. The chaises are 62" in overall length/width, with a seat width of 42". We increased the arm width to 10", the frame height to 34" and the overall height to 41". The overall depth is 72". Shannon wanted a bordered box back cushion (square - no ears) and had us increase the border size of both her back cushion and seat cushion to 5" (from standard 4"). We also made changes to the arm style - it "runs" to the back of the frame like our Roth style. Shannon needed one more change to the style. She wanted her chaises to sit on the floor - and wanted us to apply something on the bottom so they wouldn't slide so much on her hardwood. Shannon's fabric is Microfibre Fairview Ebony.

Leslie's Custom Sofa

Leslie ordered a Hughes sofa in C.O.M. (customer's own material, customers own material) in contrasting C.O.M. welt. She asked for an increased seat height - she wanted the measurement from the floor to the welt at the top of the seat border to be 20.5". Her fabric had a repeat pattern - and you can see the excellent pattern matching of our work.

Maeve

Maeve liked our Roth style sectional, but had some space limitations in her room to consider. She decreased the overall height of the sectional to 35" (vs. the standard 38") and added two Sidney small block ottomans which will be stored under a console table (behind the couch) and used as needed. The finished dimensions of her sectional are 93.5" x 93.5". Maeve chose the option of tapered wood feet and participated in our C.O.M. program where the customer buys the fabric and we adjust our price by subtracting out our embedded cost of fabric.

Lori's Custom Chaise

Lori wanted an oversized chaise large enough for her and her two children to sit comfortably and read books together. She also wanted the cushions to be soft, yet supportive. We customized our Hughes chaise by adding 17" to the seat width, making it 40". The finished dimensions are 55" length x 64" depth x 34.5" height. Lori has the fiber-down cushion package and she chose Sultry Suede Cappuccino as her fabric covering. There is plenty of room for everyone to relax on this custom sized chaise.

Louise

Louise liked our Crawford style sectional, but wanted the Hughes style back cushions. Her 2-piece custom Crawford sectional consists of a LF chair and a RF sofa - and she added a storage ottoman. She participated in our C.O.M. (Customers Own Material) program where the customer buys the fabric and we adjust our price by subtracting out our embedded cost of fabric.

Myrna

Myrna was looking for a particular style that sounded like our new English collection. We showed her a photo of an English style sofa we had built for a sample, and she knew the style was right for her. Myrna wanted an English sofa and chair, and a tufted storage ottoman (view open), similar to Jean's in this section. Her custom tufted storage ottoman is 24" overall length x 18" overall depth x 20.5" overall height. She used 5" spool posts - mahogany finish legs on all her pieces - no skirt. Myrna participated in our C.O.M. program where the customer buys the fabric and we adjust our price quote by subtracting out our embedded cost of fabric.

Yvonne

Yvonne and her husband purchased a beach condo for rental purposes. She chose the Roth style sectional and wanted a matching 2-arm Roth chair as well. Yvonne chose our newest line of fabric, Sunbrella® Canvas Pacific Blue, as her fabric covering. Sunbrella offers the quality of being fade resistant. It's perfect for a beach home or a living room full of sunlight.

Diana Designer

Diana, a designer, wanted a Yeats 2-piece sectional with a skirt for her customer. The fabric was Chenille Navy and she added accent throw pillows in a C.O.M. (Customers Own Material) fabric.

Bob's Custom Sofa

Bob had some special needs to consider when constructing his custom sofa. He was a big man and needed extra support built into the frame. So, we added extra reinforcement to the stress points of the frame, specifically in the seating area. We also added an extra inch to the border size of the seat cushions. The fabric is Chenille Sun.

Jennifer's Custom Chair

Jennifer wanted a Hughes chair with no skirt. She chose tapered wood feet. Her fabric is Jaguar Sand.

David

David liked our Hall sectional style and wanted 2-arm queen sleeper (78" in length) and 2-arm chair (35" in length) instead of a sectional. He also made several custom changes to the style. He wanted the back cushions to be the Yeats style and be 1" over the back of the frame. He also wanted special seat and back cushions that were "sleeker" looking - less crown. Both the seat and back cushions are Reflex poly. His fabric is Sultry Suede Tuscan.

Bob D.

Bob and his wife wanted new furniture for their den, but had some space constraints to work around. They wanted a two piece matching set and wanted to maximize the existing space as much as possible. They asked us to customize the length of our Hughes sofa to make it 76". The second piece was a standard size matching Hughes loveseat. Bob opted for no skirt and our 3" tapered feet - mahogany finish. They participated in our C.O.M. program where the customer buys the fabric and we adjust our price quote by subtracting out our embedded cost of fabric.

Peggy

Peggy liked our Lewis collection and wanted it made as a sectional. She particularly liked the arm style of the Lewis collection. Her sectional consists of a LF loveseat, corner chair, RF loveseat and ottoman. The finished dimensions are (L to R): 100" x 92". She also ordered a matching chair. Peggy chose Fairview Lavender as her fabric covering.
